Nemo Grabo is the world's first portable vacuum lifter. With this best-in-class power tool, Nemo lives up to its promise of ‘Heavy Lifting - Made Easy’. No more relying on bulky and complex heavy-lifters or worrying about unreliable, and often dangerous, manual suction cups for the job. With Grabo, you get the best of both worlds.
Ideal Lifting Tool
It is an ideal lifting tool for countertops, doors, panels, etc. The tool works great with glass, wood, ceramic tiles, metals, and other materials. It can handle manhole covers with raised patterns that are not too high.
Load Capacity
This tool works at a maximum vacuum capacity of 11.6 psi, with an optimum lifting capability as heavy as 375 lb.
Power
It is fully battery-operated and does not require any manual pumping like other suction cups on the market.
Ergonomic Design
This lifting tool is ergonomically designed to provide maximum work efficiency. It is lightweight and can be easily carried around in a tool kit. It is not just the portability that makes the tool unique, but it is the simple operation, performance, and overall build quality that make it premium. The tool is a game-changer for professionals in the building and construction industry.
Operating Technique
Grabo is equipped with a strong vacuum pump that works in tandem with a robust foam seal. To lift any flat slab of solid material, simply turn on the unit and place it straight on the surface. Once the vacuum pump is activated, it creates a strong suction and firmly attaches to any non-porous flat surface (and many semi-porous surfaces such as drywall and wood!) For maximum lifting, the vacuum pump can be kept activated even while lifting or moving the load.
Strong Foam Seal
The vacuum pump can also be turned off while moving a load that does not have too much mass. However, keeping the vacuum pump activated while transferring material also provides for maximum safety as even if there is an air leak due to foreign material or dirt on the material, then the continuous vacuum pump action maintains constant pressure.
Popularity
It is particularly popular in the flooring, stone, and landscaping industries. It allows the user to seamlessly pick up and move even the large format tile, rough stone, and concrete pavers with ease and precision all while saving the fingers.
Heavy Lifting - Made Easy
To operate the Grabo, slide the power switch to the left, to the ON position, to power on the Grabo. The power indicator below the power switch lights up to show you the amount of charge you have available. The power indicator will flash if the battery is low and needs to be charged before the Grabo can be used. Please note that using the Grabo while the battery is low may result in injury and damage to the materials being lifted. Position the Grabo flush against the surface of the item you want to lift. Press the green button to turn on the motor and create a seal on the surface of the item you want to lift. The seal is created within a second. When lifting smooth materials such as glass, smooth tiles, and marble, you can press the green button again to switch off the motor once the seal is created, and the suction will remain for a maximum of one hour. When lifting slightly porous materials such as wood, timber, drywall, concrete, or cardboard, ensure the Grabo motor remains on while lifting. When you are done, press the red button to break the seal and release the item.
Note: The Grabo is not designed or intended for climbing or to support a person’s weight. Using this product for climbing or any other unintended purpose may result in injury or death.
