Bernette 59 Sewing and Embroidery Machine with Multi Position Hoop and On Screen Editing

Bring sewing and embroidery together in one machine with Bernette 59 Computerized Sewing and Embroidery Machine. The b59 supports garment construction, quilting, decorative stitching, monogramming, customized embroidery, darning, and free motion sewing. A 3.5 inch color touchscreen provides navigation, while 170 mm of space to the right of the needle creates work space. Sewing speeds reach up to 800 stitches per minute and embroidery speeds up to 600 stitches per minute, with speed control.

515 Stitches and 268 Embroidery Designs

Choose from 515 total stitch patterns, including 500 sewing stitches, 22 practical stitches, and 3 sewing fonts. Stitch width adjusts up to 7 mm and stitch length up to 5 mm. For embroidery, choose from 268 built in designs and 11 embroidery fonts. The maximum embroidery area measures 120 × 180 mm, or 4.7 × 7 inches, while the included Multi Position Hoop extends the area to 120 × 300 mm, or 4.7 × 11.8 inches. Automatic hoop recognition simplifies setup, and the machine is compatible with the CutWork Tool for precise cutouts and eyelet embroidery.

On Screen Editing, WiFi, and StitchDirect App

Edit embroidery designs on the touchscreen by moving, rotating, resizing, mirroring, grouping, arranging, deleting, zooming, repositioning, checking corners and center points, and adjusting thread colors or thread brands. Built in WiFi pairs the B59 with the StitchDirect app to design away from the machine and send projects wirelessly. From a compatible smartphone or tablet, upload personal images, trace outlines, draw original motifs, combine and edit embroidery designs, and create customized lettering or WordArt style arrangements. Stitch Designer develops decorative stitch patterns, while the bernette Creative Consultant recommends presser feet, needles, thread, and settings. Transfer designs to the B59 over WiFi, monitor embroidery in real time through the app, and browse additional embroidery designs through the connected OESD shop.

Needle Threader and Click and Lift Stitch Plate

The semi automatic needle threader guides thread through the needle and is designed for a single needle in size 70 or larger. Twin and triple needles, and finer needles below size 70, should be threaded manually. The Click and Lift Stitch Plate raises at the touch of a button for tool free removal. The B59 includes a straight stitch plate and a 7 mm stitch plate for straight stitching, piecing, decorative work, and wider stitch patterns.

Smart Device Holder and Function Buttons

The built in smart device holder keeps a compatible smartphone or tablet above the B59 for tutorials, project instructions, and tools. Spacer clamps secure devices 8 to 12 mm thick, with wide and narrow clamping jaws. Tilt limits are up to 19 degrees for an 8 mm device and up to 10 degrees for a 12 mm device. Easy press function buttons provide access to Start and Stop, thread trimming, reverse or securing stitches, needle up or down, sewing or embroidery speed, stitch width, stitch length, needle position, and the home screen.

Thread Sensors and Sewing Controls

Upper and lower thread sensors monitor the upper thread and bobbin thread and display a warning if either breaks or runs out. Each indicator can be switched on or off through Monitoring Functions settings. The B59 also features a drop in hook system, retractable feed dog, adjustable presser foot pressure, needle stop up and down, programmable securing function, stitch plate recognition, memory, automatic thread cutter, manual thread cutter, and Start and Stop sewing without the foot control. The retractable feed dog supports darning, free motion sewing, and stippling. Included accessories are 8 presser feet, straight stitch plate, 7 mm stitch plate, embroidery module, 2 embroidery hoops, 4 bobbins, spool net, BERNINA Universal needle assortment, BERNINA Embroidery needle assortment, and brush and seam ripper.
