The DonJoy MAXTRAX Air Ankle Walker provides structured lower leg, foot, and ankle support for use as directed by a healthcare professional. Its small size format is designed for patients who need a compact walker with stable support, comfort focused materials, and practical strapping control during prescribed recovery use.
Stable Footbed and Rocker Sole
The MAXTRAX Ankle Walker is designed with a wider footbed to support stability and accommodate bandages or swelling. A low profile rocker bottom helps promote a more natural gait pattern and reduce plantar pressure, while the cushioned inner and outer sole helps absorb shock at heel strike for improved comfort during ambulation.
Adjustable Strapping and Support Shells
Swiveling D-rings allow the straps to be configured in crisscross or parallel patterns, giving clinicians and users flexibility when securing the walker. Anterior and posterior plus medial and lateral shells are available for compression and support, helping the brace structure surround the lower leg and foot during use.
Comfort Focused Liner and Uprights
The one piece liner design keeps seams away from post surgical areas, and the liner is washable for care between wears. Malleable uprights can break down for shorter tibia or fibula needs on the standard height walker, helping the product adapt more comfortably to prescribed use and patient anatomy.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
