Leica’s DISTO D1 is an all-purpose laser distance meter with a robust set of features and functions that makes it useful in many different situations. Its oversized receiver lens allows the D1 to see a laser dot up to 130 feet away. That’s well beyond the range a human could detect the dot with the naked eye. Additionally, the device’s measurements are accurate to 1/16th of an inch so you can be confident you’re always getting the most accurate readings possible. The D1 also comes equipped with Bluetooth functionality so it can be paired with a smartphone or tablet and used with a range of Leica apps.
Incredible Range and Accuracy
The D1 is designed to return distance readings from ranges much farther that the naked eye can see. Its oversized lens can detect a laser dot from 130 feet away. The readings the device returns are accurate down to 1/16th of an inch, too, so you know you’re getting an accurate reading even from very long distances.
Bluetooth Smart Connectivity
Leica has a number of apps that can be downloaded to smartphones or tablets which aid in a number of tasks ranging from taking flooring measurements to creating floor plans of entire houses. Normally, measurements are entered into these apps manually, but, when you pair the DISTO with the device running the app, it can transfer the information wirelessly and the app with calculate all the measurements itself.
Leica DISTO Sketch App
The DISTO sketch app supports the new Leica DISTO models from Leica Geosystems. With this laser distance meters you can even directly transfer measuring data right into a sketch or photo via Bluetooth 4.0 technology. This app can perform a number of functions when connected to the Disto D1:
- Store your sketches in a gallery
- Time stamps and geo-tagging to see when and where you created a sketch
- Create accurate floor plans in graph paper mode
- Use the camera on your mobile device to measure elements in a picture
- Email sketches as PDF or .CSV files

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
