The LightKeeper Pro Holiday and Christmas Tree Light Repair Tool keeps the holiday cheer going and saves you money at the same time by letting you quickly fix your existing lights! Whether it's a single light or an entire dark set, you can say good bye to cold trips to the store on festive evenings. Just use LightKeeper Pro to quickly extract the bulb and replace it with a new one.

Convenient Features

The LightKeeper Pro features a voltage detector to find other causes of light failures such as twisted or cut wires. In case an entire strand of light is out, you can connect the AC plug to the LightKeeper Pro and fix multiple shunts. Additionally, the built-in Bulb Tester tests the repaired and existing bulbs to make sure they work properly before climbing that ladder! The secret compartment in the handle stores spare bulbs and button batteries.

How LightKeeper Pro Works

Most miniature Holiday Light set failures occurs when an individual bulb shunt fails to energize. These shunts are energized when a filament burns out. This causes a section of lights to go out instead of just one light bulb. This is because miniature light sets are wired in series and the electricity must flow through each bulb, to the next, for them to light. The LightKeeper Pro Quick Fix Trigger sends a shaped, electrical pulse through the defective bulb, clearing the shunt. This forces the problem shunt to activate and allows the electricity flow again like it should. The current can then flow through the light set completing the circuit and illuminating the other bulbs. With your problem light strand plugged in, remove an unlit bulb and plug the strand's socket into the LightKeeper Pro. Now pull the trigger up to 20 times (usually it just takes 5-10) until the dead lights come back on!

Continuity/Voltage Detector

Each wall plug has a Hot, Neutral and Ground contact. Electricity is powered from the Hot contact and flows through the lights. It is similar to water flowing in a tube. The LightKeeper Pro Continuity Detector/Voltage Detector uses an IC (Integrated Circuit) chip to find where the flow of electricity stops. It does this by detecting the minute electrical field emanating from the Hot wire even when a defect has caused the lights to go out. This electrical field when detected by the LightKeeper Pro, starts the beeping sound and continues as you scan the light string. When the electrical field stops emanating at the defect, the beeping stops. This shows where the problem is in miniature, series light strings. The detector finds the problem spot but the bulb or socket needs to be checked and appropriate repair action taken. The repair action may be securing a loose bulb, or testing a bulb to identify if it needs to be replaced.

How do I return an item?

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

Will I receive a full refund when I return an item?

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

How many days do I have to make a return?

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days. 

My item was damaged in transit. How do I place a return?

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery. If there is carrier damage, please contact support@focuscamera.com with your order number and a description of the damage.

Can I exchange an item?

We do not currently offer exchanges. Please return the item you purchased within 30 days and order what you’d like instead.

If I ordered a kit, do I have to return all the items?

If you ordered a kit, you must return all components and accessories to receive a full refund.

I ordered a product that included a free item. I’d like to return it, do I need to return the free item as well?

If you ordered a product that included a free item, you must include the free item with your return. If not, your return will not be accepted and you will not receive a full refund.

Do you offer repairs?
