With a category-leading charge time of only 45 minutes or less, the Makita 18V LXT Lithium-Ion 5.0Ah Battery spends more time working and less time sitting on the charger. In comparison to the Makita 3.0Ah Lithium-ion battery (BL1830) it delivers up to 65 percent more run time for enhanced productivity. What's more, the battery resists self-discharge and remains ready for use even after long periods of storage.
Star Protection Computer Control
The 18V LXT 5.0Ah battery is specifically compatible with Star Protection tools, indicated by the Star Symbol and/or Yellow Battery Receiver under the tool. Purposely designed to enhance tool performance and extend battery life, Star Protection Computer Control protects the battery from overloading, over-discharging and overheating. This intuitive communication technology allows the tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions during use.
Sixteen Contact Terminals
Incorporated into the design of the 18V LXT Lithium-Ion 5.0Ah Battery are sixteen contact terminals. Even during high-vibration applications, you can rely of the battery's high performance functionality. For uninterrupted operation, the contacts maintain a constant connection with the tool to help prevent power loss or fluctuation.
L.E.D Battery Charge Level
With the 18V LXT Lithium-Ion 5.0Ah Battery, you won't have to estimate how much uptime you have left on each charge. Each battery is equipped with an integrated L.E.D. battery charge level indicator makes it easy to monitor the battery charge status.
Impact Resistant Case
Built for long lasting durability, the Makita 8V LXT Lithium-Ion 5.0Ah Battery features an impact-resistant outer case. It also has a shock-absorbing inner-liner so you won't have to worry about it being damaged from an accidental drop on the jobsite.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
