The Okuma Solterra SLX-10Lb is a levelwind lever drag reel built for saltwater trolling anglers who want controlled line lay, right-hand retrieve, and dependable drag adjustment from a compact size 10 platform. With 380 yards of 20 lb mono capacity and a 4.2:1 gear ratio, this reel gives boat anglers a practical balance of capacity, retrieve speed, and line control for trolling presentations.
Levelwind Control for Trolling
The SLX-10Lb uses a wide-mouth levelwind system with stainless steel construction and Ti coating, helping line travel evenly across the spool during retrieve. This is especially useful when trolling because anglers can focus on rod control, drag setting, and fish pressure instead of manually guiding line onto the spool.
Lever Drag Adjustment
A ratcheting drag lever helps anglers make deliberate drag changes during the fight. The Carbonite drag system with Cal’s universal drag grease supports smooth drag engagement, while the SLX-10Lb is rated for 15 lb strike drag and 22 lb full drag. This gives the reel practical stopping power for saltwater trolling while keeping drag control easy to read and repeat.
Saltwater Ready Construction
Okuma equips the Solterra SLX series with a corrosion-resistant frame and sideplates, stainless steel main gear, pinion gear, shafts, and stainless steel reinforcing sideplate rings. The forged aluminum spool includes line indicator rings, and the SLX-10Lb adds 5BB plus 2TB plus 1RB stainless steel shielded bearings, dual anti-reverses, and an Ergo Grip handle for controlled cranking.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
